The ORA-LIGHT single patient instruments support the therapy of functional disorders such as: Dysarthria, Dysphagia, Apraxia, isolated articulation disorders, myofunctional disorders, resections in the oral cavity due to cancer, and rehabilitation after total laryngectomy.

To achieve efficient training, the ORA-LIGHT system provides optimal tools to improve the strength and movement of the lip, tongue and cheek muscles. In addition, the training increases the strength of the pharyngeal muscles and the palatal arches.

The development of the ORA-LIGHT system is based on many years of clinical studies.
The ORA-LIGHT instruments are made of shatterproof polycarbonate plastic and are therefore very resistant, also with regard to strength and resistance exercises during therapy. ORA-LIGHT has specific, specially highlighted shaped areas (so-called activators). Depending on the model, these are located on the palatal part or on the handle (in the case of the lip stimulator). They improve the learning of specific tongue and lip movements, which are also required for articulation and swallowing. The activators enable the patient to better assess and control the correct fit of the instrument and also the correct tongue or lip movement.

A multilingual instruction booklet (also in German) is included.
